During the preview, all objects that are called for can be inspected and appraised on our premises for six days. The preview takes place one week before the auction on Saturdays to Wednesdays (also on Sundays) from 10.00 to 18.00 and on Thursdays from 10.00 to 14.00. Admission is free of charge. Our experts and our staff will be happy to advise you. If you do not have the opportunity to visit our preview in person, we will be happy to advise you by telephone and send you digital photos on request.
The auctions start on Friday and Saturday from 11.00 am. The auctioneers try to auction approx. 180 - 200 lots per hour. This information is non-binding and cannot be asserted as an assurance. The objects are called up in strictly numerical order of the catalogue numbers at the limit prices listed in the catalog. As a rule, an auction is conducted in 10% steps, whereby the auctioneer reserves the right to deviate from the sequence of the auction. There is no lunch break. Reserved seats are available in limited numbers. Please order in time.
We would be pleased to welcome you personally to our auctions and in our premises. After a short registration at the reception desk before the sale starts, you receive a Bidder's Number which shall be reserved for you during the actual sale. Please be so kind as to give it back by leaving the house.
You complete our Written Bids form and send it in time at latest 24 hours prior to the auction to us by email, fax or postal service. The bidder is required to provide evidence of the receipt. For the execution of bids which have not been received in time by the Auctioneer, the Auctioneer does not give any warranties.
One of our free services is to call you during the auction. This service is only available for lots with an estimated price of EUR 250.00 and more. We ask you kindly to complete our Written Bids Form containing "Bidding by Telephone" and to send it back to us by email, fax or postal service.
Please notice that the condition for taking part by telephone is a written notice received by the Auctioneer at the latest 24 hours prior the start of the first day of the auction. Telephone bidding is a voluntary service at no charge of the Auctioneer. The Auctioneer does not give any guarantee for the realization of telephone lines. A legal claim to the realization of this service is excluded.
We reserve the right to demand references from new clients (copy of the personal identification card, credit card number, references from other auction houses). In singular cases we reserve also the right to demand a cash deposit as a condition for the first time bidders' registration. A legal claim for the registration as a bidder is excluded.
Please notice that in each case, the bidder is bidding not less than the limit price for the objects and is obliged to buy the objects for the limit price indicated in the catalogue plus buyer's premium. Telephone biddings below of the limit price will be rejected immediately.
The packing, insurance and shipment of auctioned items shall be made at the cost and risk of the buyer. The customer shall immediately examine the objects delivered with regard to potential losses during transportation or other external defects and report these immediately to the shipping company. Later reclamations cannot be accepted.
By taking part in our auction(s), you agree that all bids and purchases are subject to our conditions of sale and other provisions published in the catalogue.
